Hello!
I'm Mary.
I started painting yard art in the late 1980s, around the time my two children were just babies. It was a fun and fulfilling hobby, allowing me to create my own designs and have a project that Bruce, my husband, and I could work on together.
While I handled the painting, bringing our joint visions to life with vibrant colors and unique patterns, Bruce took on the task of cutting out the shapes with a jig saw, making each piece a testament to our collaborative effort.
In the early 1990s, we took a step further and started selling our pieces at a store owned by Louise and Roger May in Pearland, Texas. This journey from creating personal yard art to becoming part of the local art scene has been a testament to my passion for art and the joy it brings not just to me, but to those around us.
